Hi everyone.
I am Nick Anderson, a PhD candidate in Economics at The New School for Social Research. This is a website where I host my projects and anything else I want to share publicly.
My dissertation, Volcker, tests twelve traditions of banking theory against one another on a single harmonised panel of US banking data, under the chairmanship of Paulo dos Santos. Alongside it I work on public finance — Treasury duration and tax-revenue cyclicality — and on the institutional history of economics at The New School. Most of what I do involves retrieving primary sources that are not otherwise available in machine-readable form, and publishing them with their provenance intact.
